Curtis Briggs and his team
art room9 was founded in 2011 by Curtis Briggs. This was a consistent step for the music producer, songwriter, entrepreneur and exhibition organiser after he had initiated and realised some highly acclaimed art projects as the founder and chairperson of “Artists for Nature“: he published the art edition “Columbus“ on the occasion of the first climate summit in Rio de Janeiro with artists such as Roy Lichtenstein, Christo, Sandro Chia, Antonio Tapiès, Edouardo Chillida, Nam June Paik as well as the photo edition “Images beyond the Naked Eye“ with internationally renowned photographers like Desiree Dolron, Martin Parr, Sebastiao Salgado and Massimo Vitali. Curtis Briggs was responsible for the exhibition “Natur?“ in the Bundeskunsthalle in Bonn as well as for the “Living Planet Square“ at the Expo 2000 in Hanover, for which he was able to recruit André Heller and Stefan Szczesny.

We combine the elements of the classic artistic salons with modern gallery Business.
When entering the gallery the visitor is welcomed by the loft atmosphere, which lends the art a discreet setting, and invited to discover. We are more than willing to not only answer your questions but are at your disposal for stimulating exchanges.
art room9 offers contemporary art that is serious and yet not top-heavy, that appeals to young as well as well-versed art lovers.
